I searched for so long for the perfect band and you were it, without a doubt. Your range of repertoire and passion for the Great American Songbook standards made our event classic, classy, and fun!! Every number the whole night was great, and as the band knows, I barely left the dance floor!

The level of musicianship of your players and singers was so high and so rare to find in wedding bands. The music was the perfect volume with a mix of songs that met all of our eclectic requests-from the 1930s to the current pop hits, you played it. Thank you also for taking our requests throughout the night. Everyone commented on how you were the best band they have encountered at a wedding and they were right.

While it's been over two months since our wonderful wedding, we continue to talk about it all the time. Most of all, we keep repeating how wonderful our music was, thanks to you! We get so many compliments about the music and the fun time everyone had dancing. Truly, it was the best ever! From the classical trio & soprano during the ceremony; Scott Ragsdale & his amazing band during the reception & the great, great DJ during the after-party. They were all perfect. There was huge debate among the two different generations involved in this wedding. My husband and I wanted a live band, my daughter and the groom wanted a DJ. We all got our way and what a way to go! We loved everything. Where can we hear Raggs & the All-Stars? Are they playing at any public venues in the near future.

I know you had a big role in working out many of the details before the wedding, and it was definitely reassuring to see you running the show the night of the wedding! You did such a great job managing the band, and the sound, and dealing with all the guests and their speeches. It could not have gone smoother!

Where should I begin with the band, they were so incredible! I know all our friends and family loved the band also, because the first words out of everyone.s mouth after the wedding was .Great wedding, the band was amazing!. My grandfather still cannot stop talking about the drummer and his Gene Krupa solo. And my mom still hasn.t stopped crying after hearing my cousin sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" with the band. That was very special to us, I'm so glad the band was happy to play with her. Everyone had such a great time dancing, and the Horah sounded great mixed with the Italian music. I guess my only complaint is that it was over too soon! I could have gone for hours more!

Lastly, much thanks to Scott Ragsdale. He was such a pleasure to work with, he had great comments and suggestions, the man's a pro! He really worked off of the play/no play list to construct the perfect list of tunes, they all had just the right sound, and he made sure they were all played at just the right moment.

Thanks again for everything! I would definitely recommend Raggs to anyone who is looking for a band with a classy style, impeccable talent, and pizzazz!

It was quite a performance. I swore that there was zero chance they would dance -- and you did it!! You actually got them out on the dance floor. I was very impressed. I wasn't kidding about having you play at my wedding. My co-worker, Anne Kleinert has you booked for May 21 at the Wardman Park Hotel and I may bring my fiancée along so he can hear you play.

So assuming he will love you as much as I did -- are you still available for next May - May 20th, 2006? We are still deciding between Evermay and Halcyon House in Georgetown and would probably only want to book you for a 7 piece band.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - we just got back from our honeymoon last night! We had a great time, but glad to be back in civilization!

The wedding was just fabulous, we really were so pleased with how the whole evening turned out - especially the music!! Everyone I have spoken to has told us that they have never heard such great music at a wedding, and we couldn't agree more!

Thank you again for putting on such a great show and really knowing how to get our crowd moving (not that it took too much convincing!). At one point I was out on the patio getting some air and I looked into the room and saw nothing but a jam-packed dance floor with everyone just having a wonderful time. You guys really were spectacular - give our thanks to the whole band for making the evening so special.

I'm sure you'll be hearing from us at some point in the future for other events!

The band was better than we could have imagined, very professional, and seemed committed to ensuring that our guests had a great time. All of our guests with whom we have spoken, raved about the band and the female trio, which was simply fabulous. We were so happy to see a variety of age groups on the dance floor. Also, I must complement everyone for performing our first and last dance songs (A Kiss to Build a Dream On and Wink and a Smile) terrifically. Scott, I enjoyed working with you and sincerely appreciate the timeand patience you put toward making our reception all we had hoped for. The level of quality and entertainment that the band provided was unparalled in my opinion.

The guitarist got off to a great start. And Raggs and the All-Star Swing Society were a big hit. Not only did our guests dance and dance, but those who did not loved the "Andrew Sisters". They made the evening a joyous and wonderful occasion. Thanks so much for arranging this fabulous experience!

The band really made the wedding. We had a great night and everyone got to dance from my 93 year old great uncle to my 14 counsin. I could not ask for anything better...

Now that the reception is over and I have time to examine the night I am sending you my observations:

1. As good as the DVD and website is, it in no way prepares someone for the quality performance you deliver. 2. You band is like those you hear in the movies. As in the lawn party scene in "Sabrina" or the reception in "Father of the Bride." 3. The band was professional in every manner including the specialty dances such as the father/daughter dance etc., and the announcing along with throwing the bouquet and garter. 4. I have seldom, if ever, received every bit of what I paid for from anyone providing me a service. I must say that Saturday, October 11th is a day that exceeded every expectation. Without question your band was money well spent. 5. When we asked you for help and guidance your recommendations were perfect. Obviously based on a wealth of experience. 6. When others commented to us about the grand time they had at the wedding at the top of the list were glowing comments about the band. EVERYONE LOVED YOU.

In closing, thank you seems so little to say for your contribution to a night that I deemed one of the most important in my life, the marriage of my one and only daughter.

I'm sorry it's taken a few weeks to get this note together but I wanted to send through a huge thanks for the amazing night you and the 'All Stars' gave us at the Willard on the 22nd. Hurricane Hannah was not the only thing that truly 'blew' that night away. Christina at the Willard recommended we contact you as soon as she heard we were looking for the 'Big Band' feel for our post wedding reception/party. What a fantastic recommendation that was. From the help you gave us creating the demo CD's for us to include in the invites (a huge hit with everyone by the way), to the professional setup and the amazing performance on the night we could not have asked for anything more. You guys were fun, professional and played the house down. I have had many many people tell me the music was just amazing.
