If you eliminated the wedding all-together and just called it a concert, it would warrant the same praise.

Despite my slight bias, I know I also speak for our guests of all ages, shapes, sizes, genders, nationalities, music tastes, music talents, dance skills/embarrassments, intensity levels (re energy, sober/drunkeness, real or perceived altitude fatigue, etc), and any other category. Aside from the joyful comments on anything related to Karen, your exceptional performance has been the next most featured compliment.

I know to you it was largely just another wedding. So, THANK YOU for making it feel like it was the only wedding worth playing - for learning all those new songs, for perfectly summoning so many great musicians (from Miles Davis to Bob Marley, MJ, Stevie, Taylor Swift, Avicii, AC/DC, Bruce, Rhianna, CSNY (gasp!), some old klezmer Jews, and on and on) yet often adding your own flavour, for your immense energy and dynamism. You brought so much thunder, personality and class to each song, whether a dance anthem or a soulful slow jam. And you strung them together in a perfect sensitive succession that made for a full exhilarating night.

Please share this with the rest of the band. Each member seemed equally responsible.

Project M performed for LA Opera's Fall 2013 Opening Night Gala. This black-tie fundraiser is attended by the social elite of Los Angeles. The band exceeded our expectations and wowed our discerning crowd including the Gala Committee and our General Director, Placido Domingo.
