We are so thrilled and over the moon with how our wedding day turned out and by far the biggest highlight from everyone we talked to was you guys and how awesome you all sounded.

Literally, I can’t say enough about how great Ira, the band and Alaska were. The guests at the end were so sad when they ended because they were having so much fun on the dance floor. I know the snow and all the circumstances weren't the easiest. However, the rave reviews from everyone at the wedding just keep coming in. Many people have said it was the best band at a wedding they have ever heard! We all agree! We just wish the wedding party would have been able to be at the cocktail reception and hear the band all night long.

We've just received the professional photos and video and are having so much fun playing back the special day, enjoying the memories of each moment. The two of us and our friends and family were glued to the dance floor all night - and your team did an excellent job of reading the room and knowing when to dial things up and down. All of my guests at said "it was the best band they have ever heard". In fact, I am STILL getting rave reviews from our guests about how fantastic Ground Control was months after our wedding!

They were truly a joy to work with! Their music selection was on point and kept our guests dancing for hours. Their renditions of songs were truly magnificent and still give me goosebumps. You had the entire coterie of present guests in the palm of your hand throughout the evening. We have received extensive raves from all those present; many observed it was the “most fun” wedding they had ever attended, and, just as frequently, that GC was the finest band they had ever enjoyed at family celebration.

I am well aware that the key to hosting a grand celebration is to insure that all pieces fit together seamlessly in a manner consistent with the theme of the event. We consider ourselves very blessed that we chose your band to entertain our guests and enhance the joy of the celebration to heights I would not have thought attainable.

Our sole regret is that the rain interfered with the guests’ ability to enjoy the wonderful ceremony repertoire you and Leah performed (the wedding planner kept the guests locked in the Hotel Lobby until 15 minutes before the ceremony began). I guess we will just have to invite you back for a do-ever the next time a Leavitt daughter gets married!(We have two more in the wings…)

  Everybody in attendance has been buzzing about the weekend, which was such a success in large part thanks to those professionals who helped make it shine.  We had friends and family from all over the US and across the Atlantic from England and they all have said that it was the best dance party they’ve ever been a part of at a wedding.  For us to see the dance floor with such energy and literally jumping to the very end was just amazing and everything that we had hoped would happen by having you perform for us.  All band members even had their own little fan clubs by the end of the night, and it was so special for us to see many of Ground Control members come and join us at the after party!  

Particular highlights of ours:

• Ties on heads - “Everyone’s Doing It!” - Including Ground Control!!!
• Bride and Groom Crowd Surfing

I have had no less than 20 people tell me you were the best band they have ever heard by far. You had my 70 year old aunts and uncles dancing up a storm! My friend literally split his pants down the side because he was dancing so hard.

The music was the most important element of the night for both Todd and I and while we knew you would be amazing, your performance completely blew us away. I also so appreciate you playing my favorites on your list as well as accommodating our requests! Your renditions of the first dance songs were beautiful.

Needless to say, we all had so much fun (too much in my case ;) ) Thank you all SO much for making our day so spectacular.

The sound system worked wonderfully during the ceremony and of course Ground Control rocked the house during our reception. I can't tell you how many of our guests commented on how great you all were and what a great performance it was. Our reception was so much fun and so much of that was due to Ground Control.
