Truth Groove’s dynamic sound has been exciting crowds for the last ten years. With an infectious mélange of Jazz, Funk, Latin, Soul, Disco, and contemporary hits, Truth Groove is renown for their ability to keep every crowd dancing from start to finish, delivering the very best in a wide range of genres while catering to your individual styles and tastes. In a sea of wedding-band-sameness, Truth Groove is simply a stand-out. Ranging from a six-piece (which includes a male and female vocalist) up to a ten-piece with auxiliary horns, Truth Groove is sure to provide the perfect atmosphere for your wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, or private function.

What separates Truth Groove from other bands? Experience, stellar musicianship, a captivating stage presence, and a vast repertoire that avoids hackneyed and unimaginative song choices. Don Tillery (lead vocals and trumpet) has shared the stage with artists like James Brown and Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers. Moving seamlessly between Louis Armstrong-inspired ballads and James Brown’s fiery funk, Don is an altogether magnetic performer. His double-trumpet solos (using two trumpets at once) are a jaw-dropping site to see at every show.

Veteran band leader Michael Harris (guitar and vocals) is extremely versatile musician. He has an extensive Sinatra repertoire and covers modern artists such as: Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr., Van Morrison, David Gray, Bob Marley, Marc Cohn, Rascal Flatts, and many more. Michael is also a charming and charismatic emcee who will gladly help with all of your announcements and introductions throughout the evening.

Truth Groove also features the impressive vocal stylings of Liz Briones, a seasoned stage performer whose catalogue ranges from the romantic ballads of Etta James and Billy Holiday to the dynamic sounds of Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. She shifts effortlessly from Alicia Keys, to Sly and the Family Stone, to more modern artists such as Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Outkast.
